“The press was to serve the governed, not the governors.”
-U.S. Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black in New York Times Co. v. United States (1971)
Since the Department of Veterans Affairs cannot seem to make managers and certain individuals accountable, citizens can use freedom of speech to make the public aware of the corruption. If you know someone (current VA employee or congress person) who deserves to be added to the VA Hall of Shame fill out the contact form providing sources to the evidence. It would be helpful if you could provide a short bio of the person with photograph, including name, title, place and location of employment and wrongdoing. Congresspersons and their staff who have failed veterans either by ignoring their constituents or failed to take the actions necessary to stop the corruption and reform the VA are also candidates for the VA Hall of Shame.
